About Me.

Hi, my name is Matina Kladeftira, and I’m going to share a few things about how it all started, how it is currently going, and who knows where it might reach in the future. Although I received offers from prestigious universities such as UCL, Southampton, and Newcastle, I chose to study Film, Photography, and Media at the University of Leeds, one of the UK’s top universities. The School of Media and Communication ranks among the top 10 in the UK for Media and Film Studies, and Leeds consistently holds strong positions in global university rankings. My studies provide a solid foundation in visual storytelling, contemporary media, and creative practice.

The foundation of my creativity began with my A-Level in Art and Design, where I achieved an A* grade. This early achievement helped me develop the skills, discipline, and vision that continue to guide my work today.

Creativity has always been central to my life. From a young age, friends and family recognised my passion for art, design, and visual projects, often asking me to create custom gifts, paintings, and other creative works. What started as personal favours eventually grew into my business, Creative Kutsodulia. The name comes from a Cypriot phrase meaning “last-minute handmade work,” reflecting the spontaneous requests I often received and my dedication to crafting meaningful, personal creations. Creative Kutsodulia encompasses paintings, digital designs, photography, film, and personalised gifts.
